Some of the children in the Midlands who have benefited from previous Santa School Box campaigns.

Love Howick will once again be running its Santa School Box Drive and is appealing to residents in the Midlands to support the campaign.

“This year we are collecting stationery for a few less fortunate pre-schools across uMngeni,” founder and director Matt Hogarty said.

“Donate towards this campaign to transform a life this holiday season.”

Residents can either buy stationery – see the list of requiremen­ts below – to fill a box or donate R250 towards the Santa School Box Drive.

The stationery list includes: one jumbo beginner pencil; two A4 72 page unruled book; one A5 hardcover exercise book; one 50 page flip file; one pack jumbo wax crayons; one eraser; one 30cm ruler; one large glue stick 43g; one scissors (blunt nose); one sharpener with container; one set of Marlin or Croxley retractabl­e crayons; one A4 whiteboard and whiteboard dusters; four parrot whiteboard markers (black only); and one soft pencil bag.

Filled school boxes can be dropped off at one of the following collection points:
