Members of the Michaelhou­se Culinary Society got to make and eat their own Italian pasta – following a visit by Jackie Cameron and some of her students at the Jackie Cameron School of Food and Wine in Hilton.

Twenty-eight boys took part in the twohour cooking session, which included stepby-step demonstrat­ions on how to make classic Italian style food including pasta, basil pesto, chunky tomato sauce, bolognaise mince sauce and creamy alfredo with Midlands chicken and mushroom
