With 42 players wandering backwards and forwards on A green, it was a bit like Grand Central Station in New York, although not quite the 700 000 passengers they have per day!
A number of matches were played in the Club Trips Championship.
In the men’s section, Larry Williams, Fanie Bester and Rob Pigott and Craig Whitby, Doug Logan and Sheldon Lines advanced to the quarter finals.
In the ladies’ section Lester Ballantine, Di Hallows, and Di Saint, Barbara James, Nicky Wallis and Jean Hayler and Denise von Mayer, Heather Findlay and Di Pringle advanced to the semi-finals.
