Samsung has come up with the world’s first smart robot vacuum to be powered by Intel’s AI. It will use 3D LiDAR sensors – typically found in self-driving cars – to navigate the home, enabling it to avoid both large objects like furniture and small items such as cables. Once the vacuum returns to its Clean Station, it automatically empties the dustbin, which traps 99.99% of pollutants. The bin only needs to be changed every two to three months – and you’ll be prompted to do so via an LED notification alert.
