PARIS B RUMMER, PHOTOGRAPHER AND ARTIST

2011 introduced us to “Lady Gaga mint”. It’s a calm but bold and modern shade. Anything more yellow and it’s sickly; anything more blue and it’s dessert.

A photographer from Joburg currently based in Cape Town, Paris enjoys “incorporating the differences each city offers into my work, while also finding ways to understand what makes both cities function”. The list of her favourite things includes Japan, Brutalist architecture and Pixar animation, and her dislikes range from flat AA batteries and instant coffee to bad movie sequels and diagonal rain. Paris is a regular contributor to VISI; for this issue, she photographed the elegant new wine cellar at Moya Meaker Wines in Elgin (page 160).
