What do you love most about spring?

Although I’m a fan of the colder months, there is something so intoxicating about spring. It’s as though the birds tweet louder, the bees buzz a little more energetically, and even the traffic seems more bearable – there’s optimism about. What I love most is the fragrant smell of jasmine outside my kitchen window, the earlier sunrises, and the few months of enjoyable breezes in the Cape before the gales of summer arrive. Spring calls for alfresco lunches, well-chilled wooded Chardonnay and sunsets on the beach.
