The committees are supported by the Central Drug Authority (CDA), which is a government body that consists of experts in medicine, law enforcemen­t and community mobilisati­on.

The Department of Social Developmen­t has rehabilita­tion centers that are equipped with qualified profession­als and resources that help alcohol and substance abuse addicts to recover and provide families much needed support.
