CONGRATULATIONS to Sue Grove of Milnerton for her picture of a canal in Amsterdam.

“This is one of many beautiful canals in the city. It’s fantastic to visit. Around each corner there is a scene which is prettier than the last,” she says

Grove wins a two-night midweek stay for up to four guests at the Montagu Springs Holiday Resort, valued at more than R1 600.

The runners- up are Ginette Flockton of Rondebosch for her picture of a hippo in Botswana and Maureen Austin of Fish Hoek for her picture of hikers in the Drakensberg.

Flockton enjoyed the wild life and nature in Botswana. “I captured this hippo frolicking in the flowers.”

Austin captured this waterfall scene while hiking in the mountains of Champagne Castle, in the Drakensberg. “No one in our family, noticed the sinister face peering down at them from the fall. We noticed this apparition only later when looking at the photo.

“The face appears to be con- structed of the rocks, water and weeds.” Competition rules: ● All photographs must relate to travel, and you may enter as many as you like.
