BUILDERS TRADE DEPOT SPOKESPERSON BUILDERS currently has a national footprint that comprises 15 truss plants strategically positioned to service the contractor, as well as home owners’ roofing needs. The most recent truss plants opened in Rossburgh, Kwa-Zulu Natal and in Pretoria West, Gauteng.

All our truss plants offer design facilities and free quotations, as well as professional, friendly advice and service to our customers. Builders strives to continuously develop the skills of the roof truss designers and, in doing so, ensure that our customers are offered the best, most economical roofing solutions for their specific needs. Whatever the nature of the project, care is taken to ensure each customer is happy with the end result.

At Builders, customers can expect high-quality output from professionals, precision truss manufacturing and installation services by an accredited ITC installer. Once installation has been completed in conjunction with the inspectorate of the ITC, Builders can arrange a final inspection and provide you with the A19 certificate for the erection.

All Builders Truss Plants are ITC accredited and comply with standards set by the Institute for Timber Construction. The plants are audited annually by the Institute for Timber Construction to ensure that we are within the benchmark of the required compliance.

All four Builders brands, namely Builders Trade Depot, Warehouse, Express and Superstore, collectively provide project-complete solutions to small or large building and maintenance contractors, home improvers and DIY enthusiasts, as well as garden- or any other related projects.

The stores have convenient trading hours and locations and offer a range of quality products and services under one roof at competitive prices.

Builders Trade Depot operates 17 outlets catering mostly for mediumto large-sized contractors and tradesmen engaged in building, maintenance and renovation projects. Builders Warehouse follows the big-box or warehouse retail format and trades out of 30 stores across South Africa, two in Botswana and two in Mozambique. Builders Express trades out of 38 stores in four provinces catering for home owners and DIY enthusiasts. Builders Superstore is a new store format which opened its first two stores in November last year in the under-served markets of Tembisa and Evaton, aimed at homes in townships, rural and developing urban areas, as well as small contractors. The chain currently trades out of three stores.
