R35 million boost for premium lifestyle estate

-

THE SOMERSET LIFESTYLE AND RETIREMENT VILLAGE SPOKESPERSON HAVE you been watching what i s happening on the eastern side of Somerset West? Well, if you haven’t, then carry on reading.

Sales to the value of R22 million were concluded at The Somerset Lifestyle and Retirement Village during the past week, and the digging of f oundations f or new homes has become a weekly event.

Construction of our new R13m clubhouse, The Lord Somerset, has commenced, to be completed by the end of the year. The clubhouse offers a good restaurant that provides quality food, along with a bar, lounge, deli, well-stocked library, conference room and even a non- denominational chapel, where one can spend quiet moments.

At the same time the new shopping precinct across the road from The Somerset, which will house a Checker’s Blue Line store (there are only five in the country), Woolworths and Clicks, plus satellite shops, is under construction. Add this convenience to the lifestyle and ask yourself – what more could one want from a retirement village such as The Somerset, which is already renowned in the Helderberg for its consistent quality in both planning and building?

Due t o t he market demand, one- and two-bedroom sectional title cottages are being introduced into the scheme with a choice of garaging facilities. Our sales consultants have had numerous enquiries from potential purchasers who want a compact home without compromising on quality or lifestyle The Somerset has to offer.

Investors have also shown keen interest in the sectional title cottages, which will have a good rental return.

Rentals will be managed in house, with all potential lessees checked, thus taking any inconvenience and risk out of handling one’s own rental.

That being said, since the opening of the life right show cottages, there has been an upsurge in the sales and, as there are only 20 of these wellappointed cottages, they will soon be sold out.

Two cottages are available for immediate occupation.

Couple this with the surge in sales of the freehold homes, which has already brought forward the release date of the marketing of the next phase of freehold properties, and you will see the market trend for quality retirement living.

Healthcare facilities will be operational from the time our residents move into their new homes.

For further information, call one of our consultants on the number in the advertisement or visit our site office at The Somerset on the corner of Sir Lowry Pass Road and Bizweni Avenue, Somerset West.
