Wife sees singer speed off with man

THE WIFE of a Durban traditional healer stood by helplessly as her husband drove off in his red Audi A5 at midnight with controversial musician Kelly Khumalo.

Jabu Nzama, who is married to flamboyant healer and Maskandi musician Zamokwakhe “Bhaka” Nzama, watched from the family home as the pair sped off. Khumalo and Nzama were in the back seat, while Khumalo’s sister, Zandi, sat in front with Nzama’s driver.

The incident occurred on Thursday night at the Nzamas’ Malvern home, where the wealthy healer had thrown a birthday party for Zandi.

According to guests, Khumalo and the healer wore matching white outfits to the event. Although Zandi sat in-between the pair at the party, guests said the healer and Khumalo spoke to one another throughout the night, while Nzama’s wife watched. Jabu Nzama did nothing as her husband left with the Khumalo sisters.

Isolezwe, Weekend Argus’s sister publication in Durban, has reliably learnt that Nzama booked the Khumalo sisters into the Hilton Hotel when they arrived in Johannesburg. He also spent the night at the hotel. This comes a few days after a cosy picture of Khumalo and Nzama relaxing at the Saxon Boutique Hotel and Spa in Sandton was posted on a social network site.

The picture infuriated Nzama’s fans, who urged him to stay away from the “troubled” star, saying he too would meet the same fate as Khumalo’s previous lovers.

Khumalo hit the headlines in October after her boyfriend Senzo Meyiwa, Bafana Bafana captain, was shot and killed in an apparent botched robbery.
