Golden Oaks development priced to sell quickly

-

BUYERS who are looking for homes in the affordable price bracket should be pleased to know that there are still units available for less than R500 000 in Cape Town, which is a rarity.

Golden Oaks, a 235-unit sectional-title development in Blue Downs is on the market at prices from R419 000, which includes VAT and transfer costs. When the development is complete, there will be 12 apartment blocks in all, with about 20 units in each two- storey block, according to Nathaniel Richards of IHPC, the agency marketing the development.

“There are 32 completed twobedroom units available for purchase and occupation immediately, priced at R419 000. This is a huge plus as many people cannot afford to buy and still rent elsewhere while waiting for their unit to be completed. Transfer of these units could take place as early as February. A further twoand three-bedroom apartments will be released as the development nears completion,” says Richards.

The Golden Oaks complex is surrounded by a wall with two access points, one for vehicles and the other for pedestrians. Features such as common green areas, play area for children and a sports field are planned to be developed on completion.

Golden Oaks is close to the Blue Downs CBD and within walking distance of the Shoprite Centre as well as the sports stadium. Several primary and secondary schools are nearby, as well as crèches.
