Lili appears in two courts in one day

A FRAIL-looking Andile Lili made a brief appearance in the Bellville Magistrate’s Court with his three co-accused, then made his way to the Bellville Regional Court yesterday.

Lili, chairman of Ses’khona People’s Movement and a member of the ANC’s provincial executive committee, was arrested last week after warrants were issued for failing to appear in court on January 29 and February 2. The two cases involve missing court appearances and for inciting public violence.

Lili was out on R5 000 bail for the second case.
