Winelands Village offers a farm-like community lifestyle just off the R44
THERE are only a few more plots available at the Winelands Village, just off the R44, next to the small farming community of Raithby that lies between Stellenbosch and Somerset West.
Loryn Alberts and Johan Badenhorst of Seeff Strand and Gordon’s Bay are marketing the last few plots and say the development is ideal for those looking for a rural lifestyle in the winelands, but who still need to be close to commercial centres.
Aside from Stellenbosch and Somerset West, Franschhoek and Paarl are close by, as well as Strand and Gordon’s Bay. Cape Town is 40 minutes away.
“The views are spectacular, including mountains and vineyards. The development offers a farm-like lifestyle. The 6.4ha development comprises just over 40 residential properties of various erf sizes from just under 500m2 to over 4 000m2. There is a dam on the estate, which is enclosed with an electric fence,” say the agents.
The 13 available plots range from R1 million to R2.8 million.
“The Stellenbosch property market in particular has been very strong over the last two years with new developments extremely popular. The developer, DHA ( Dirk Hatting & Associates) has assembled a team with a track record of success in similar and larger scale projects including De Zalze Winelands Golf Estate, Fransch Hoek Estate and Arabella,” say the agents.
