A NEW apartment block in Claremont has been launched recently, consisting of 13 oneand two-bedroom units, priced from R2.425 million, with no transfer duty payable.

“One- on- Scott would be ideal for young couples, business people and investors,” says Mark Upton, managing director of Upton Properties the marketing agency for the development.

“There is a shortage of such apartments in the southern suburbs, and seven of the units have already been sold. The uptake in sectional-title units, particularly in the southern suburbs is gathering momentum, with more developments coming on line to address the increase in demand.”
