EAT, drink, party and generally make merry at Blah Blah Bar in Tamboerskloof ’s trendy Kloof Street, where there is something good happening almost every night of the week.
Tonight from 8pm is the Urban Noizz party featuring cocktail happy hours between 6-7pm and again at 11pm till midnight. Entrance is free. I can’t tell you much about Tuesday’s event because it’s called Hush Hush and the line-up is a secret. It also begins at 8pm, is also free, and in addition to the cocktail happiness, pizzas are discounted till 10pm.
On Wednesday you’ll have to pay R100 for the pleasure of Jacques du Plessis and Dave Ferguson playing together in something called Counterpoint (8.30pm). Cocktails as before, and again on Thursday for the regular Open Mouth! Poetry from 8pm.
Last but not least for the upcoming week is The Coast (melodic rock/pop) and The Young Folks (rock/alternative pop/experimental) at 9.30pm next Friday, July 29. Cover charge for this one is just R40. And of course the cocktails.
