70 new apartments for Burgundy
THE SECOND phase of Avenida, a secure development by the Rabie Property Group in Burgundy Estate, Tygerberg, is to be launched next weekend.
Phase two will comprise 70 one and two-bedroom apartments priced from R880 000 to R1.18 million.
Phase one was a near sell out, with buyers snapping up around 50 apartments since its launch in October.
Sizes vary from 57 m² to 76m², including balconies.
Parking is offered on the ratio of one bay a bedroom. There is also secure visitors’ parking.
When fully developed, Avenida will have 183 apartments and eight townhouses, several pocket parks with lush landscaping, and communal facilities including a swimming pool, a clubhouse, braai facilities and a children’s play area.
Designed by award winning architects, Boogertman & Part- ners, the R235m development will be walled with access control and electric fencing along Tygerberg Valley Road.
The apartments will be built in a cluster of three-storey buildings, and many will enjoy panoramic sea and/or mountain views or overlook green open spaces.
All apartments will have optical fibre for high- speed internet connectivity.
Brian Usher of Property World, the on-site agency, says: “Rabie has really raised the bar at Burgundy Estate since they entered this market two years ago as a joint venture partner with Nedbank..”
Development director, Miguel Rodrigues says construction of phase two of Avenida will start in May and completion is scheduled for May/June next year.
It will be launched from the Rabie Sales Centre in Burgundy Estate next weekend from 2pm to 5pm.
