Escapees captured
JAKARTA: Police on Indonesia’s Sumatra island have recaptured at least 120 prisoners following a jailbreak involving about 200 inmates.
Scores of prisoners at the Sialang Bungkuk detention centre in Riau province rioted around noon during a protest demanding better treatment, police spokesman Guntur Aryo Tejo said.
They overpowered guards and broke the prison gate.
