Retire in style at Pinelands Grove

-

ALMOST sold out, Pinelands Grove Retirement Village has added to its appeal by expanding its lifestyle offering to include a well-equipped exercise area with views of Table Mountain.

Marketed by Pam Golding Properties, Pinelands Grove offers residents of 50 years and older the opportunity to enjoy independent living in an upmarket, secure complex with an array of amenities and medical facilities.

Lightstone research shows the Western Cape is attracting a growing percentage of South Africa’s retiree home buyers.

“With retirement accommodation in short supply, it’s imperative people start planning for their golden years. Pinelands Grove offers premium, community living in one Cape Town’s most beautiful suburbs,” says Bev Bloch, Pam Golding Properties development executive, Western Cape.

“Residents enjoy sharing life experiences with the community and they have an opportunity to take part in the many functions and activities on offer.”

Units are sold on a life rights basis. The village is managed by the Cape Peninsula Organisation for the Aged, which has more than six decades’ experience in retirement living.

Assisted-living services are available as needed.

Self- catering apartments are priced from R495 000 to R575 000 for a studio unit, from R895 000 to R1.195 million for a one-bedroom unit and from R1.595m for two bedrooms.

All the 200 units overlook courtyards or the pool and there is wheelchair and walker access throughout.

The complex has 12 communal lounges and on-site frailcare facilities ensure residents have long-term support, should they need it.
