WITH Rugby Sevens hitting fever pitch in Green Point this weekend, there are plenty of other thrills to be had elsewhere in the city.

Shimmy Beach Club in the V & A Waterfront precinct presents Afrikaans Rocks this evening from 5pm. The all-star line-up of Afrikaans rockers includes Fokofpolis­iekar, Jack Parow, Karen Zoid, Francois van Coke, Arno Carstens and Early B. Tickets range from R225 to R350.
