Buy a bargain in a beautiful bay

-

IT IS HARD to believe, but one can now invest in a new development in sought-after St Helena Bay on the West Coast for R692 000.

Located just two hours from Cape Town and the airport, the development in Jaloersbaai will offer 40 units to be developed over three phases. The first two phases are now selling, says Karin Holloway, an achiever agent from Seeff who is marketing the development.

The design incorporates stonework and the typical fisherman’s cottage style which is so popular with buyers.

Phase one comprises 10 cottages, each with two bedrooms, priced at R692 000. These are already under construction.

All costs, including transfer duty and attorneys’ fees, are included in the purchase price.

This is one of the best property deals you will ever find, says Holloway.

The second phase com- prises six houses, each with a porch, garage, paved driveway and boundary walls, priced at R678 000.

The third phase will offer three-bedroomed houses.

St Helena Bay is a popular holiday resort town and a photographer’s dream.

Holloway says the vistas, white-washed fisherman-style homes and bay lined with yachts and boats are “quite spectacular”.

“It has rich fishing waters and is still a fishing town where you can buy fresh fish and snoek straight from the boats. It is also popular for whale watching over the annual August-November migration.”

She says the town has “excellent facilities” and that one could not ask for a better holiday or retirement destination.

Aside from own-use for holiday or first time home buyers, this development also holds ideal investment potential.
