Tourism an economic gold mine to grow SA

-

REGARDING January 13, 2018 – “City just the spot to set off cruising” –

The City of Cape Town planned the cruising terminal for many years and finally it has come to pass.

Tourism is one of those industries that is labour intensive and brings foreign capital to the city.

Tourism has grown into one of our prime industries and is certainly the jewel in the crown of the Cape.

South Africa is suffering shrinking of the job market and over 50% of our youth are unemployed.

The Cape is doing everything in its power to reverse this trend and we are already seeing results.

MP James Vos is an individual who understands the need for labour intensive growth.

Cape Town tourism head Enver Duminy is working hand-in-hand with MP Vos and the provincial government of the Cape has grown the tourism industry in leaps and bounds.

The surge of unemployment is biting deep and hard, and one thing we can do to try and reverse this is to show off our beautiful country. Hats off to the Cape’s local government, provincial government, MP Vos and, in particular, Cape Town Tourism and its head, Duminy. THANK you for the article “Animals feel complex emotions”.

Acknowledging that farm animals are sentient beings who experience complex emotions forces us to confront the inconvenient truth of their mass slaughter for food. In her best-selling book Why We Love Dogs, Eat Pigs and Wear Cows, Dr Melanie Love, a psychologist, examines the psychology of eating animals and why we are compassionate to our pets, but ignore the suffering of animals we eat.

Through impeccable research Dr Love explodes the myths regarding the need to eat animals.
