Furniture, appliances sale will feature more than 500 lots

BIDWAY Auction House will offer more than 500 lots of furniture and appliances in the auction at its Woodstock premises on Thursday. Included in the sale, and back by popular demand, will be an exclusive selection of Smeg appliances.

Auctioneer Stef Olivier says the auction assets will include a range of leather furniture, including two- and three-seater recliner couches, corner lounge suites, single armchairs and wing-back chairs.

Also on offer will be a large quantity of solid blackwood furniture, ranging from six, eight and 10-seater dining tables and chairs, buffet cabinets, and plasma television stands to coffee tables, chests of drawers and other quality furniture pieces, as well as smaller items such as butchers’ blocks.

The Smeg appliances on offer will include more than 10 five-burner gas stoves, combination fridge/freezers and kettles in various colours.

“There will also be a range of Samsung and LG washing machines and dishwashers. A highlight of the auction will be a selection of topquality, flat-screen television sets ranging in size from 32” screens all the way up to Samsung’s massive 78” and 85” screens.

The auction items may be viewed at Bidway’s premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock, between 9am and 4pm on Wednesday.

The sale will be held at Bidway’s Woodstock auction house at 11am on Thursday.
