In bocca al lupo. Jemma Kahn’s third kamishibai show is on at Alexander Upstairs from Monday (February 26) until March 10, at 7pm. Kamishibai, translated as “paper drama”, is an ancient Japanese form of street theatre. Illustrate­d panels are revealed one at a time from a wooden box, accompanie­d by narration).

To Get To The Moon. Dawn

Garisch’s new play, starring Anthea Thompson, is on at The Masque from March 8, 9 and 10 (previews), opens on March 13 and runs until March 24.

The production is being staged by The Siyasanga Theatre Company. Siyasanga – run by Fatima Dike,

Roy Sargeant and Paul Regenass – develops the writing of and produces new South African plays at venues such as Artscape and at the Guga S’thebe Arts & Culture Centre in Langa.
