Luxury apartments in Green Point

-

AN offering of luxury residential apartments with panoramic sea views is planned for Green Point’s Romney Park hotel.

Ranging in size from 51m2 to 526m2, the 26 north-facing apartments will go on sale later this year. They include one- bedroom, two- bedroom and four-bedroom units, and three deluxe apartments.

“This has been one of South Africa’s premier hotels, and we’re looking to build on Romney Park’s reputation for excellence in luxury and fine living,” says Susan Versfeld, co-owner in charge of sales at Romney Park.

The refurbishment, due to begin this month, will leave the elegant contemporary-colonial exterior of the building largely untouched, while the spacious interiors will be updated to provide contemporary and comfortable living quarters that come with services and facilities including a pool and lounging deck, concierge, 24/7 security services, laundry facilities and fibre internet.

Some units will have a private or rooftop garden. Many will have panoramic sea views.

Heino Reuling, director of Romney Park Luxury Apartments, says the apartments include air- conditioning, underfloor heating, on- site parking and storeroom space.

One- bedroom apartments will sell from R3.09 million, two-bedrooms from R5.8m, and three-bedrooms from R7.2m. The deluxe apartments will sell from R16m.

The building’s location in a quiet historic street in the heart of Green Point puts residents in striking distance of quality schools, the V&A Waterfront, the Cape Town Stadium, and Clifton and Camps Bay beaches.
