Cartoon characters come alive

Justin van Wyk, chief executive officer of Big Concerts said:“Cartoon Network Live will feature for the very first time all the familiar and beloved Cartoon Network characters, together in one live stage show.”

The show follows the adventures of a scientist named Kevin Gizmo as he attempts to save the world of Cartoon Network from the evil robot Zarr. The scientist’s journey will take him through some familiar places, including the Land of Ooo, the city of Townsville and the suburbs of Elmore.

Maria Rosaria Milone, senior director of Cartoon Network Enterprise­s said: “Creating interactiv­e and immersive brand experience­s provides not only kids but their entire family with new and exciting ways to engage with our shows and characters. Live Nation have matched our passion and ambition to bring Cartoon Network’s iconic brands to life.”

Cartoon Network Live is suitable for kids aged five and older, and will be in Cape Town until July 1 at the Grand Arena in GrandWest.
