Malcolm decapitated alive, then carved up

HORRIFYING details of Sandra Malcolm’s terrifying last moments, were revealed during sentencing arguments in the trial of the “Lakeside Butcher”, this week.

Piecing together a chilling narrative from the scientific bloodstain pattern report, prosecutor Liezel Herbst, said Sheree Prince launched her orgy of incomprehensible violence in the kitchen, where she stabbed her helpless victim in the chest.

“She remained standing next to the kitchen counter long enough for rather large volumes of blood to drip on to the floor,” said Herbst

Then she collapsed to the floor, where blood spatter in all directions, suggests that Prince stabbed a helpless Malcolm.

Coagulated blood patterns reveal Malcolm lay where she fell for some time, before being dragged across the floor to her lounge.

Leaving no doubt about the unfolding cruelty, Herbst said Malcolm was still alive when she was dragged.

“Expirated bloodstains from her nose and mouth were found, clearly indicating that she was still breathing,” said the prosecutor noting bubble-like ring patterns in crime scene photographs. “The deceased was stabbed yet again at the second location,” said Herbst decoding impact bloodstains photographed in the lounge.

Still alive Malcolm was then dragged through her front door into her courtyard.

Damage to Malcolm’s gown and top told forensic experts that she had struggled right until the end with Prince.

Blood saturation in the courtyard further revealed that was where she was decapitated, alive, and then dismembered and disembowelled.

The report, concluded Herbst, “portrayed a very grim picture of extreme suffering by the deceased before she eventually passed away… ”
