AS PART of the city’s R4.1 billion phase two of the MyCiti bus system, plans to extend the BRT route through Plumstead and Wynberg will include linking Khayelitsha to the Wynberg business district. This will mean less pressure on commuters during travelling times.
In 2016, the Isivivana Youth and Community Centre was opened. Five key organisations act as primary tenants, while the building also hosts retail space, a community hall, an auditorium, library and a classroom.
An internal parking lot provides space for a netball/basketball court and an outdoor amphitheatre.
