Dan van Zyl, the auctioneer who will conduct the auction, says the newly-renovated property could be sold furnished or unfurnished, whichever the buyer prefers.

The auction will take place on site at 7 Cayman Beach Road, Cayman Beach Estate, Gordon’s Bay, at 11am on Tuesda. While there will be no reserve price, the sale will be subject to confirmation by the seller, Van Zyl says.

The property may be viewed from 10am on the day of the auction.

No registration fee will be payable. However, the winning bidder will be required to provide an identity document and proof of residential address on the fall of the hammer.

A deposit of 10% of the bid price plus auctioneer’s commission will be payable either by bank-guaranteed cheque or EFT on the day of the auction.
