A touch of hotel decor chic for your home

BUYERS will soon be able to add a touch of authentic hotel decor chic to their homes with furniture and appliances sourced from an upmarket hotel, located at the Waterfront, that will go under the hammer at Bidway Auction House’s next sale at its Woodstock premises.

The auction will also include buses and vehicles used to transport the hotel’s staff, says auctioneer Stef Olivier.

“The hotel has revamped 24 of its rooms and all the contents of those rooms will be sold on the day of the auction,” he says. “The furniture on offer is all in very good condition, and will include single, queen- and king-size bed sets; headboards; side tables; coffee tables; dark wood display cabinets; and carved wooden armchairs.”

Also on auction will be all the bar fridges, flat-screen TVs, home theatre sound systems, kettles, lampshades, light fittings, mirrors and artwork.

The vehicles to be auctioned are two Iveco 20-seater buses (a 2012 model and one from 2016), and a 2015 Citroen 19-seater bus. In addition, a 2010 Hyundai IX35 and a 2017 Toyota Fortuner 2.41 GD6 diesel manual 2X4 will be up for grabs.

The auction will be held at the Bidway Auction House premises at 179 Albert Road, Woodstock, at 11am on Thursday.
