ON APRIL 24, a vacant plot in the Sillery Private Estate in Constantia will be brought to auction, says Tanya Jovanovski, franchisee of Rawson Auctions Western Cape.

Located in Sillery Avenue, off Constantia Main Road, the estate has a prime situation in a region reputed to produce some of the best wines in South Africa.

Sillery Estate is about 800m from High Constantia shopping centre, and just 2km away from Constantia Village shopping centre.

She says the owners of the site have building plans that have been approved by both the City of Cape Town and Sillery Estate’s body corporate and these will be available to the highest bidder once guarantees are in place.

“The current plans allow for a home with four en-suite bedrooms, domestic quarters, a double garage and a pool.

“However, the new owner could have his own plans drawn up for a single or double-storey building, provided the body corporate guidelines are adhered to, and select his own building contractors.”

The vacant erf will be auctioned at noon on April 24 at the Rawson Property Group’s head office at 222 Main Road, Rondebosch.
