Popular Little Red Riding Hood returns

The whole family can sing along to this well-loved fairy tale at Nassau Theatre

- JBJ Reporter

FROM next week, the Lilliput Children’s Theatre Company will be performing one of their most popular shows,

Little Red Riding Hood, at the Nassau Theatre, (on the grounds of Groote Schuur High School).

The delightful fairy tale follows the well-loved story of the girl who disobeys her mother by cutting through the wood, instead of taking the safe road, to visit her grandmother. She encounters a big bad wolf in the woods and learns some important lessons along the way.

This show is filled with audience participation and sing-along songs.

The duration is 40 minutes and is ideal for the whole family.

A fairy-tale classic with a happy ending, where everyone lives happily ever after.

Ideal holiday entertainment.

Red Riding Hood is adapted and directed by Elton John Duffy, who has been producing Children`s Theatre and delighting audiences for the past 26 years.

The show stars Desle McConney as Red Riding Hood, Niki Ricardo as Granny and

Red Riding Hood’s mother, Dean Van Der Ventel as The Wolf and Almar Muller as the woodcutter.

The show will run from Wednesday until July 6 at 10.30am. Tickets are R85.
