IN2ASSETS will on April 8 auction a large industrial property with lucrative annual income in Strand. The stand of about 6342m² is close to the N2 between Somerset West and Strand and comprises 784 storage units as its major attraction.

Hein Hattingh, who is handling the disposal, said the freehold industrial property, known as Collect A Store, is based at 4 Henry Vos Close in Asla Park. It has a gross lettable area of more than 8000m² and features a large industrial building comprising the proliferation of storage units in varying sizes, three offices, 78 parking bays and a detached security office. There are two vehicular access points to the property.

The first office is owner-occupied, air-conditioned, and comprises openplan reception/office, private office, ablutions and kitchenette. The second and third offices are tenanted and have much the same layout and facilities as the owner-occupied unit. The storage units are on the ground, first and second floors, and each has a roller shutter door, concrete flooring and painted brick walls.

In2Assets said the gross annual income of the property is currently about R7.38million, based on 85% occupancy. The sale, to include all movables including trucks and other vehicles, will take place at the Century City Conference Centre at 11am on April 8.
