As fans sing Taylor’s praises, the teen’s keen to sing us another song

TAYLOR Hunter has made the top 40 on KFM with her song Untouchable.

The Edgemead High School Grade 10 pupil grew up wanting to be in the medical field but soon realised her talent and started to have fun with the idea of singing.

The artist from the northern suburbs said her song was about people making friends online.

“Sometimes they get to me. Sometimes they don’t. After an experience of my own, I realised how much this happens.

“I wrote a song about it hoping that everyone could relate to it,” she said.

Taylor said that without Cape Town’s support and votes, the top 40 slot would not have been possible.

“With a lot of work and support from my parents and, hopefully, they will continue to vote and help me climb the KFM Top 40,” she said.

The 15-year-old told Jellybean Journal she would start writing new music next month after her school exams.

“I’m very excited to get back into the studio. Hopefully I will continue making music that people love and can relate to.”

She said she wasn’t signed to any label, but it took her four hours to write the song.

Taylor, who also enjoys enjoys figure skating and dancing in her spare time, had help from independent record label and management agency 222 Artist Agency.

It took about three weeks to produce her hit song, she said.

“No words can really sum up Taylor. She is the model teenager.

“She is hard-working, driven and only has success on her brain,” said Taylor’s mother Candace Rogers.

‘I’m Hopefully, very excited. I’ll continue making music that people love and relate to’
