Quality assets from 3 Table View restaurants
THE FURNITURE and equipment of three popular restaurants in the Bayside Mall in Table View will be sold by Langs Auctions on Wednesday at 11am.
The hammer will come down on the assets of the Bayside Mall branches of household names in the food industry: Steers, Mugg & Bean and Fishaways. All three branches were operated by Brioso Foods, now in liquidation.
Among the lots on offer will be quality furniture such as tables, chairs, bar tables and stools.
Chandeliers, TV sets and printers are also on auction. The equipment to be sold is wide-ranging and includes coffee and ice machine; kitchen utensils; grillers; gas burners; galvanised and steel shelving; undercounter fridges and scales. Also on the block will be ovens, work tables, microwave ovens, dishwashers, chip fryers and chest freezers.
Moses Langeveld, of Langs Auctions, says the sale will offer quality assets to investors with the liquidity and capacity to wait for the revival of dining-out business to reopen the three restaurants, which are sorely missed by locals.
Viewing for the auction of the three restaurants is at the Steers restaurant in Bayside Mall on Tuesday from 9am to 4pm.
For viewing arrangements, contact Langeveld at moses@ langsauctions.co.za, 021 913 0763 or 082 659 9696. Covid-19 regulations will be in place at the viewing and at the auction. | Auctions Writer
