Hawks appoint new deputy national head
LIEUTENANT-General Tebello Constance Mosikili has been appointed the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation’s (Hawks) new deputy national head.
Mosikili will be taking over from Lieutenant-General Yolisa Matakata, who now holds the position of provincial police commissioner of the SAPS in the Western Cape.
The Hawks said Mosikili was an accomplished investigator and had served at various levels.
Mosikili has been in various units and her career expanded in the Child Protection Unit, as an area organised crime commander, as well as a local criminal record centre field investigator. In 2010, she was appointed as a provincial commander of visible policing.
The Hawks have called her an “investigative solutionist and strategic leader” who will be bringing her expertise in the criminal justice system to their agency. |
