OMBUD CAMPAIGN AIMED AT HIGHLIGHTING TAXPAYERS’ RIGHTS

THE OFFICE of the Tax Ombud is redoubling its efforts to create awareness about its services and protect the rights of taxpayers this filing season through an awareness campaign, #TaxpayersRightsMatter. The campaign, which was launched on September 1, positions taxpayers as central to the ombud’s service philosophy as it continues to improve access to its services, which include providing free and impartial assistance to taxpayers who have a complaint against the South African Revenue Service. The campaign will be featured on digital platforms and in the social media space.
