A WARD councillor was brought in for questioning this week after being accused of strangling and assaulting his partner, with whom he stays, following an altercation. The woman sustained bruises to her neck and face.
YESTERDAY marked a year since humanitarian organisation Gift of the Givers stepped in to respond to the Covid-19 pandemic. Founder Dr Imtiaz Sooliman who is in Cape Town, donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the SA Red Cross Air Mercy Service (AMS).
