Bang for your buck: trendy CBD units to invest or live in

-

RAWSON Auctions Western Cape will be selling two apartments in the Cape Town CBD on March 23.

The 37m² apartments, in the luxury Hollow on the Square hotel, have a carpeted open-plan bedroom and lounge; a bathroom with bath, shower, basin and toilet and a kitchenette with built-in cupboards. They have air conditioning.

There is a laundry service, a 24-hour concierge service and CCTV cameras. The hotel has a lounge, a bar and a restaurant.

“The units are modern, well maintained and appointed – and boast the contemporary style and modern decor expected of fourstar hotels,” said Tanya Jovanovski, the Rawson Auctions Western Cape franchisee.

“They make a perfect spot for young professionals working in town or a fantastic investor opportunity. Each has the capability of

bringing in a daily rate of between R600 and R900 or a monthly rate of R15 000, if let as an Airbnb. Considering the low reserve price and high potential rental income, they are a sure-fire investment.”
