Heritage site: the stage is yours
BROLL Auctions and Sales, in conjunction with RJ Properties, will be auctioning a multilevel heritage building on Bree Street in an on-site auction on November 1 at noon.
The property, formerly home to SixtyNine Theatre and Bar, has a lower-level entrance along Hout Street, leading into a bar/café area with ablutions. Two staircases lead up to a middle-level seating area, with an on-grade access point via Bree Street. The property also features a double-volume amphitheatre, a large mezzanine level, bar, backof-house office and a secondary office all linked to this main landing area.
“The building, zoned for mixed use, is within walking distance of other local attractions such as the V&A Waterfront and many leading restaurants,” says David Walker, of Ryan Joffe Properties.
The purchaser will also be entitled to the transfer of an on-site consumption liquor licence. For more, contact David Walker at 082 576 9711 or email david@rjproperties.co.za.
