Centrestage’s Fleetwood Mac is back

CENTRESTAGE has brought its popular tribute to Fleetwood Mac back to Old Grey.

There was one show last night, with a second one to follow tonight.

Fronted by Lynn Cloete as the gravelly-voiced Stevie Nicks and Caron Strydom as Christine McVie, the cast of superb musicians recreate the lush harmonies which gave albums such as 1976’s Rumours and 1987’s Tango in the Night iconic status.

Andre Strydom, known for his fronting roles in Centrestage tributes to the likes of The Bee Gees and Neil Diamond, is at the helm of this project, which recreates the Fleetwood Mac songbook with as much authenticity as possible. Songs covered include the likes of Little Lies, Seven Wonders and Go Your Own Way.

With Old Grey having recently been revamped, the dinner theatre format continues with meals and bar facilities available before the 7.30pm start and during the show itself.

Tickets are at Computicket at R160 and R140 for pensioners, with discounts for eight or more, available through Wendy on 082-661-6921.
