In ad­di­tion to the act­ing awards, the SAG Life Achieve­ment Award will be pre­sented to an es­tab­lished per­former for fos­ter­ing the high­est ideals of the act­ing pro­fes­sion. This year’s awardee is Puerto Ri­can singer, dancer and ac­tress Rita Moreno.

She is the only His­panic and one of the few per­form­ers to have won all four ma­jor an­nual Amer­i­can en­ter­tain­ment awards: an Os­car, an Emmy, a Grammy and a Tony.

She re­ceived the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Sup­port­ing Ac­tress for her role in 1961’s West Side Story.

Those less in­ter­ested in awards and more in gowns and jew­ellery, will be able to see what the stars will be wear­ing on the red car­pet on E! En­ter­tain­ment Tele­vi­sion (DStv chan­nel 124), from 1 am tomorrow morn­ing.
