CENTURION – Jacques Kallis may yet play for the Titans in the next OneDay and T20 season.

The rumour in the corridors at SuperSport Park is that Kallis will launch his bid to play in his sixth World Cup during February and March in the Titans’ light blue colours.

Kallis had announced his retirement from Test cricket last year, but made it clear that he will stay in the game to achieve one of his biggest dreams — winning a World Cup.

The Titans had reportedly made him a good offer and the 38yearold Kallis may change his Cape roots to settle in Pretoria in a move which his Cape fans will view as akin to high treason. But Titans coach Rob Walter, who was also fitness expert for the previous world cup team, yesterday said he will wait and see what happens. 1st Tee: 6.56 R. Chetty, R. Ramlal, A.
