PRIORITIES

Weekend Witness - - Opinion - ANDREW NAICKER Pietermaritzburg

THE article “Potholes, streetlights, police, it’s all systems go for the big race”, on May 23 in The Witness, was read with interest and some concern.

While the municipality offers assurances that the Comrades Marathon route will be in top condition come race day, it is absurd that many areas in PMB that fall outside of the route, and have broken streetlights, potholes and overgrown grass, are not offered the same attention. Clearly where there is political will, there is a way.
