A Syd­ney Univer­sity study of 80 000-plus adults found that those who did strength-based ex­er­cise had a 31 per­cent lower risk of can­cer-re­lated death than those who didn’t. Even bet­ter? The re­search found no dif­fer­ence be­tween do­ing body-weight ex­er­cises and us­ing weight machines. Get mov­ing!
