After a workout, I have an omelette filled with veggies, avo and cheese. I don’t eat a lot of meat, so a small omelette is great for the protein I need after a workout.
I love NPL’s Hyper Gain postworkout shake (R400 for 6kg, Dis-Chem) as well as a cold Fit Aid (R720 for 24, FitAid. co.za) after a hard CrossFit session.
I like to make recovery smoothies, with banana, chia seeds, almond butter, Herbalife protein and water, after a very hard session. They’re so delicious, filling and really help me to recover for my next session.
