Af­ter a work­out, I have an omelette filled with veg­gies, avo and cheese. I don’t eat a lot of meat, so a small omelette is great for the pro­tein I need af­ter a work­out.

Sunette:

I love NPL’s Hy­per Gain post­work­out shake (R400 for 6kg, Dis-Chem) as well as a cold Fit Aid (R720 for 24, FitAid. co.za) af­ter a hard Cross­Fit ses­sion.

Michelle W:

I like to make re­cov­ery smooth­ies, with ba­nana, chia seeds, al­mond but­ter, Her­bal­ife pro­tein and wa­ter, af­ter a very hard ses­sion. They’re so de­li­cious, fill­ing and re­ally help me to re­cover for my next ses­sion.
