Warm honey in a saucepan and stir in co­coa pow­der un­til dis­solved. Pour the sweet, choco­latey sauce over the slab of short­bread just be­fore serv­ing, then sprin­kle with ed­i­ble vi­o­lets and gold leaf. This is de­li­cious with whipped cream.
