It’s not always about figures … sometimes, IT’S ABOUT EMOTION

WOW (Women on Wheels) - - FROM THE EDITOR -

It’s such a cliché, but I can’t believe how quickly time flies. It feels like just yesterday that I was writing my very first editor’s letter. And now here we are with Women on Wheels 2017! The website has kept us very busy this past year, and we’re thrilled to see WOW’s digital space growing. Again, we’ve kept the digital line open to the magazine and so you’ll find the same level of entertainment and information our readers have come to expect in the magazine.

It’s not just about what’s under the bonnet – cars can be visually emotional – so I wanted this issue to be a real feast for the eyes. Head over to our classic car piece (page 44) and pore over the details of these timeless beauties. We also have breathtaking road trip pics submitted by our readers in our #LoveLocal Canon competition, the winners of which are announced in this issue.

Who doesn’t love a road trip? Making the most of exploring our beautiful country, we’ve put together a list of 15 drives perfect for your adventure bucket list (and there are eight amazing getaways up for grabs).

Fiat graces the cover of WOW this year and we could not be happier! Not only do we love the little Italian car, but it was great fun following fashion blogger Nadia Jaftha around as she hit the road in the 500C. Read all about it on page 14.

And that’s just a taster of this jam-packed edition. Sit back, grab a cuppa (or a glass of wine) and enjoy this year’s issue of WOW!
