WEST COAST NATIONAL PARK, WESTERN CAPE
A mere 90-minute drive from Cape Town will find you next to the azure waters of the Langebaan Lagoon that’s surrounded by quaint boat houses, white dunes and the undulating fynbos landscape of the West Coast National Park. The length of the reserve (roughly 34 km) has well-maintained tarred roads. Various antelope species roam the park along with an array of bird species. There aren’t any 4x4 trails, but that means visiting the park in your Polo is a breeze.
