SERVES 8 Prepa­ra­tion time: 10 min Mar­i­nat­ing time: 30 min or overnight Cook­ing time: 20 min

8 chicken pieces MARI­NADE 30 ml (2 T) tikka

spice mix 30 ml (2 T) tan­doori

spice mix 15 ml (1 T) dried

chilli flakes juice of 1 lemon 250 ml (1 c) plain

yo­ghurt 8 ro­tis to serve

In a hurry? Make a mari­nade with a jar of tikka paste or tikka sauce mixed with plain yo­ghurt

1 Make three in­ci­sions in the thick­est part of each chicken piece and ar­range in a mar­i­nat­ing dish 2 Mari­nade Mix to­gether all the ingredients and coat the chicken well Mar­i­nate for at least 30 min­utes but prefer­ably overnight 3 Braai for about 20 min­utes over mod­er­ate coals, turn­ing fre­quently un­til done 4 Serve the chicken with ro­tis
